How we generated over $60k in sales for our eCommerce Client - The Pearl Source ?

We want to expand our marketing channels and we have thought about chat marketing. Could you help us? 


This is the way how The Pearl Source started the conversation with us and the first step like with any other company we are working with it was to establish the goals, do an audit of the current marketing, what was and is successful and what wasn't and isn't, ending with a very thorough plan.


It took about a month to put all the details together and this is what we ended up with: 

  • 6 ad campaigns 
  • 1 ad set per campaign
  • 10 creatives per ad set - Single image, Carousell and video

  • Retargeting Add To Cart - No Purchase 
  • Retargeting View Content - No Purchase
  • Lookalike Audience for customers with a Life Time Value under $1000
  • Lookalike Audience for customers with a Life Time Value over $1000

Carousell ➡ Single Image ➡ Video

Now let's have a look at the results 


One of Ad Sets after only 2 days and $50 spent made $2413 in sales

Final numbers 13th November - 31st December 

As we can see in the above screenshot we have ended up with 639 people that interacted with the chatbot from the ads. 


Some of them became customers but the others became potential customers as we have stored all their details into a database and in Manychat where we can contact them in the future about new items, discounts, special offers and giveaways. 


From 13th November we have increased the customer database in Manychat with 336 new subscribers.

We have also used dynamic images to create a personalised experience for the customer. As you can see below in the screenshot each subscriber would see an image with their first name on if when they interacted with the chatbot. 

From 6th December we have decided to implement a push notification strategy as well and capture potential customers on an extra channel. 


For this service, we have used https://subscribers.com/ since is relatively cheap and we have done a Welcome Campaign with 3 notifications. You can have a look at the numbers of new subscribers below.

So just to recap this are the numbers


  • New Subscribers = 589
  • Ad Spend = $5355.35
  • Sales = $64288.37
  • Average Roas = 12
